PWWTU is constantly working to protect and improve trout waterways in our area. We are presently engaged in a long-term project to make Pine Creek in Pittsburgh's North Hills a blue ribbon trout fishery within just a 30-minute drive from downtown!

We also sponsor Cabin Fever, the largest trout fishing show in Western PA, offer an annual bus trip to Fisherman's Paradise in Bellefonte, PA, conduct fly tying classes, participate in local sports shows, underwrite sending high school students to various conservation and fly fishing schools and publish a monthly Hatches & Rises newsletter.
