Tentative schedule of upcoming General Membership Meeting speakers.
These are subject to change. The PWWTU Chapter meets on the second Monday of each month - September
through June - at 7 PM. Meetings are open to the public. Each meeting usually consists of a fly tying demonstration by a
guest tier, a short business meeting followed by a speaker who is expert
on some aspect of trout fishing or on concerns relating to coldwater
stream conservation. Plan to join us. We look forward to meeting you at
our next chapter meeting.
Next Meeting:
May 10th: Scott Loughner
Our last chapter meeting of the year promises to be one of the best with Scott Loughner as our guest speaker! Scott will present his “Yough show” that teaches the flies and techniques used to catch small mouth bass, carp and other warm water species. And after his talk, Scott will show us why he is considered among the finest fly tiers in the country. Scott is widely recognized for his expert knowledge of and passion for fly fishing for all types of warm water species- both freshwater and salt. Scott is a member of PWWTU, Pittsburgh Fly Fishers Club, Harrisburg Fly Fishing Club, and, along with PWWTU’s Mac Seaholm, he is on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Fly Fishing Museum.
