Tentative schedule of upcoming General Membership Meeting speakers. These are subject to change. The PWWTU Chapter meets on the second Monday of each month - September through June - at 7 PM. Meetings are open to the public.  Each meeting usually consists of a fly tying demonstration by a guest tier, a short business meeting followed by a speaker who is expert on some aspect of trout fishing or on concerns relating to coldwater stream conservation. Plan to join us. We look forward to meeting you at our next chapter meeting.

January 9th:    The Great Fly Sale!
As is our tradition at PWWTU, our January meeting is reserved for The Great Fly Sale! This is the best opportunity to stock up on all of those fly patterns that you will need for the upcoming fishing season. These flies are generously donated by many of the expert fly tyers in our chapter and they are offered at low prices.  The Great Fly Sale is one of our biggest fundraisers, so come on out and support the chapter! As an added bonus, chapter member Dr. Mike Ginsberg will share some photos from a recent fly fishing trip that he made to the San Juan River in New Mexico. See you at the January meeting and bring a friend!

February 13:           Harold Harsh
There is a fantastic trout river within two hours of Pittsburgh that most of you have probably never heard of.  Maryland’s North Branch of the Potomac River is a beautiful, wild river that offers excellent fly fishing for browns and rainbows.  Expert fly fishing guide Harold Harsh (of Spring Creek Outfitters in Oakland, MD), will be joining us to tell us about this productive western Maryland river. And, if we’re lucky, Harold will also share some his photos from Chile and Ireland, where he also guides clients. Shake off the winter blahs and join us at the February PWWTU chapter meeting!
