Flies Needed For the Fly Sale
PWWTU’s annual January
Great Fly Sale has grown into one of the
chapter’s major fund raising events thanks
entirely to the generous fly donations by
our members. The next fly sale will take
place at our January 14, 2008 general
meeting. Between now and then, flies are
needed – lots of them. PWWTU recently
purchased a new supply of the little plastic
boxes in which the fly assortments are
packaged. The minimum box quantity was 900!
That means we have all of those empty boxes
that need to be filled (or at least as many
as possible) with flies.
As a reminder, the
flies should be tied in ½ dozens. You choose
the patterns and sizes. Bring them to any
general meeting and give them to Joe Kline.
The chapter will package and label each box
with the pattern, size and the tier’s name.
